Sona was the host for MTV’s Hiphop Show, The Rappers Season 2 And is the first American to trilingually host a Taiwanese variety show which was nominated for 5 Golden Bell Awards. In 2023 he became the first non-Taiwanese American to host the Presidential Office Concert for Taiwan. Hosting for a Taiwanese audience seamlessly switching from English to Chinese to Taiwanese. Sona focuses on sharing his musical experience with the new generation of local Taiwanese hiphop fans as well as providing unique social commentary on his Youtube show, The Good Bike Mob and his culture-based show for westerners The Bee Box Channel which have amounted over 50 MILLION views and half a MILLION subscribers across two channels in less than 3 years.

Sona has DJed at events to crowds of over 60,000 people including the 2022 Taiwan National Event, and the Golden Melody Award Showcase. He has toured and played clubs in Japan, Mainland China, Africa and across the United States and frequently performs at clubs in Taiwan. A former Music Curator for the W Hotel, Sona knows exactly how to set the perfect vibe for a crowd, drawing on a wide array of musical influences including Quincy Jones, Kraftwerk, Fela Kuti and David Bowie.

As a producer, Sona has remixed the likes of Celine Dion, Dwagie, Namewee and BG8locc. He has also released dance music singles on OM Recordings, Ministry of Sound and Dustpan Recordings. He has also scored commercials for K-Swiss, Audi, Tesla, and the W Hotel.

As an actor, Sona has appeared and acted in Hollywood, Taiwanese and Chinese films as well as commercials. Performing all of his own stunts, Sona also delivers dialogue in fluent Chinese and Taiwanese.

Sona represents #thesweatlife as a brand Ambassador for global lifestyle and fitness brand Lululemon. He hosts parkour training camps and workshops at his various parkour academies in Taipei and also DJs at Lululemon branded events. He has recently curated a spotify playlist for the Asia Pacific FEEL CHARGE campaign

Sona s the co-founder, owner and Head Coach of the ADD Academy in Taiwan. Having trained with the original founders, the Yamakasi, Sona is a 19-year practitioner and has trained many of the 1st and 2nd generation practitioners in Taiwan as well as holding workshops in Africa, Mainland China and the United States. Sona has also helped formulate and design the government approved Coaching Handbook and Curriculum for the ADD Academy.
